New Faces In Stranger Things For Season 4: Discover The New Characters

The Stranger Things team returns to Hawkins , and this time they’re joined by new faces that are horribly familiar to us.

Ahead of its highly anticipated season 4, the Netflix fantasy series has just revealed a number of new stars who are joining the cast, as well as the characters they will play.

According to the series’ official Instagram page , Robert Englund , best known for his iconic role as Freddy Krueger in the Freddy movie franchise  , will play Victor Creel, a “disturbed and intimidating man” who is “imprisoned in a mental hospital” .

Eduardo Franco will play Argyle, a much needed friend for Charlie Heaton’s character , Jonathan. The pizza delivery boy is described as a “fun-loving firecracker smoker”.

Former Harry Potter hero Jamie Campbell Bower will join the Netflix series as Peter Ballard, a caring man who works as a nursing aide in a mental hospital, while Sherman Augustus will join the cast as Lt. Col. Sullivan , a “pragmatic” man.

New teens will also be introduced. Mason Dye joins the cast as “the rich and handsome athlete” Jason Carver, while Joseph Quinn arrives at Hawkins High School as Eddie, president of the high school’s official Dungeons & Dragons club.

There are also two new Russian characters. Tom Wlaschiha  will play a “charming” Russian prison guard named Dmitri, while Nikola Djuricko will play Yuri, an “unpredictable” trafficker who loves crispy peanut butter.

This new batch of characters for Stranger Things gives us clues as to what season four of the series has in store for us. If the series will now follow young teens Eleven ( Millie Bobby Brown ), Will ( Noah Schnapp ), Mike ( Finn Wolfhard ) and the rest of the team as they explore all kinds of high school issues, it’s obvious that ‘They are far from done with conspiracies and the world upside down.

New Faces In Stranger Things For Season 4: Discover The New Characters

The little that is known about the next season of Stranger Things reveals that there is something to be impatient with, especially regarding the return of Hopper, played by David Harbor . The last time we saw Hopper, we didn’t know if he was dead or alive. Now it seems obvious that, as many fans suspected, he was the “American” kidnapped by the Russians at the end of season three.

“But all is not rosy for our” American “: he is imprisoned far from his home in the snowy lost lands of Kamchatka, where he will have many dangers to face, both of human origin … and other”, said the designer Stranger Things , Ross and Matt Duffer , in a statement . “Meanwhile, in America, a new horror is starting to surface, a thing long buried, one thing that connects everything.”

They added that season four will be “the biggest and scariest yet.”

With Freddy Krueger in the story, it’s no wonder!
